- Dates/Terms/Eligibility:
The “Earn gas cards by booking Europcar” travel agent promotion begins April 6th, 2016 and ends on September 30, 2016. Agents may enter by registering their bookings on www.europcar4agents.com. Only Europcar car rental bookings made by agents located in the United States or Canada for rentals at any global Europcar location (except USA and Canada) are eligible for the Grand Prize and booking incentives. The contest is open only to U.S. and Canadian travel agents whom are in good standing with Europcar. Void where prohibited.
- How to enter:
Travel agents enter on the web site: www.europcar4agents.com by registering for commission if they have not done so yet and then registering bookings through the Booking Entry Form.
Register a rental: book and register an eligible rental issued between April 6, 2016 and September 30, 2016 for travel returned on or before September 30, 2016.
Eligibility for the Grand Prize:
The Grand Prize will be offered to a qualified agent on or around October 5, 2016 from the United States who has registered the most valid and returned bookings between April 6, 2016 to September 30, 2016. The Grand Prize winner will be awarded a $300 Gas Card.
- Prizes:
- Grand Prize – will be awarded to the qualified agent that has registered the most valid and returned bookings between April 6, 2016 to September 30,
- The Grand Prize of a $300 Gas Card
- Booking Incentive Prizes – every agent that is registered with Europcar for commission and registers car rental bookings for the promotion will receive a $10 Gas Card after every two (2) car rentals have been returned.
All other expenses not specified herein with respect to the above prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Grand Prize is $300.
The ARV of the booking incentive Gas Cards is $14,700 each and does not include the price of shipping.
A W-9 or W8 form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) will be forwarded to winners for completion and a 1099 form will be prepared and forwarded to the winners at year’s end.
If a travel agency does not allow personal awards it must be noted in a letter so that the award may be given directly to the Travel Agency. Please allow 2 – 4 weeks for processing.
- Grand Prize and Monthly Prize drawings:
Potential winners will be chosen based on the reservation booking date and returned date as per the specified guidelines outlined previously. Eligibility per prize is outlined in point 3-Prizes. Winners will be notified by e-mail and required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and Publicity form. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. All drawings for this promotion will be conducted in Scottsdale, AZ by an independent marketing/judging organization whose decision is final in all matters relating to the giveaways. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting the online entry, the entry submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered will be considered the entrant. The winner of the Grand Prize will be notified on or about October 14, 2016.The winners of booking incentives will be notified on or about May 13, 2016, June 15, 2016, July 15, 2016, August 17, 2016, September 15, 2016 and October 14, 2016.
- Conditions for “Earn gas cards by booking Europcar” promotion:
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-changeable. Alternatives will not be offered. Europcar reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of the “Earn gas cards by booking Europcar” prize promotion without notice in the unlikely event of major catastrophe, war, earthquake, or any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other similar event or to provide substitute prizes of similar value should the specified prizes become unavailable.
Winners must be at least 18 years of age and a legal U.S. or Canadian resident.
By participating in this promotion, the winner grants the promoters permission to use their name and likeness on the www. europcar4agents.com website and for advertising and future promotional purposes without additional compensations (except where prohibited).
Winners are liable for any tax liability accruing as a result of this promotion. This promotion is void where prohibited. Online entrants must have valid e-mail address and it is the entrant’s responsibility to update Europcar of any change in their e-mail address. No transfer, assignment or substitution of a prize is permitted by any winner. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Europcar, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this promotion.
By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Europcar, the sponsors, its officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in this promotion, or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the promotion; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the promotion or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the promotion or acceptance, receipt use or misuse of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the promotion, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, incidental, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. By entering this promotion, entrants acknowledge that they have read and understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. This promotion is void where prohibited.
- Winners’ names:
For the names of the prize winners, send an email to Europcar@us-sales.com. Winners’ names will be sent when the promotion is over and prizes are awarded. Requests for winners’ names must be received by October 31, 2016.
