1. Dates/Terms/Eligibility:
The “Swing into Spring” promotion begins April 1st, 2019 and ends on June 30th, 2019. No purchase necessary. Travel agents may opt in by filling out their name, email address and agency name. Agents can qualify for the grand prize by booking through the GDS or Click4Wheels from April 1st, 2019 to June 30th, 2019. Only Europcar car rental bookings made by agents located in the United States for rentals at any global Europcar location (except USA and Canada) are eligible for the grand prize and weekly prizes as a result of the promotion. The contest is open only to U.S. agents that are in good standing with Europcar. Void where prohibited.
2. How to enter:
Travel agents opt into the “Swing into Spring” promotion by entering their name, email address and agency name in the “opt in” field at Europcar4Agents.com/promo. Travel agents that make a booking through their GDS or Click4Wheels from April 1st, 2019 to June 30th, 2019 will be entered to win the grand prize. All bookings must be actualized by July 31st, 2019.
Eligibility for Prizes:
Agents that opt in and make a booking through their GDS or Click4Wheels by June 30th, 2019 will be entered to win the grand prize.
3. Prizes:
- Grand Prize – agents that complete the opt in form and make a booking through their GDS or Click4Wheels will be entered to win a $1,000 cash prize.
- The grand prize is a $1,000 cash check. Winner must provide a valid Europcar itinerary that was booked from April 1st, 2019 through June 30th, 2019. This itinerary must be actualized by July 31st, 2019. Winners will be responsible for spending funds at their discretion. Europcar is not responsible if cash card is lost, stolen, or damaged.
- Agents that qualify for the Grand Prize will also be eligible to win the weekly prizes.
- Alternative Prize – A grand prize winner will be randomly selected from a pool of eligible opt-ins. If the Grand Prize candidate is unable to provide booking details (Europcar itinerary number), he/she will receive an alternative prize of a $25 gift card. Up to ten (10) alternative agents can be selected. All random drawings cease once a Grand Prize winner is located and able to provide the proper booking information. Winners will be responsible for spending funds at their discretion. Europcar is not responsible if cash card is lost, stolen, or damaged.
All other expenses not specified herein with respect to the above prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Grand Prize is $1,000 USD and the Alternative Prize is $250 USD (10 card x $25).
4. Selection of Winners
The grand prize winner will be notified on or about July 31st. The selected agent must provide an itinerary that was booked on a GDS or Click4Wheels from April 1st, 2019 to June 30th,2019. This itinerary must be actualized by July 31st. The winner will be notified by e-mail and required to respond with their mailing address within ten (10) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent to claim his/her prize. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and selection of alternative winner. All prizes and drawing for this Promotion will be conducted by Sponsor’s agent, Discover the World in Scottsdale, AZ (“Agent“), whose decision is final in all matters relating to the giveaways. If potential winners do not respond, Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Terms, prize will be forfeited, and at Sponsor’s discretion and an alternate entrant may be notified.
In the case where an agent can be contacted within ten (10) days, but unable to provide a valid booking, an alternative prize of $25 gift card will be awarded to the agent. Up to ten (10) Alternative Prizes will be awarded. All random drawings will cease once a Grand Prize winner is located and able to provide valid booking details. All prizes and drawing for this Promotion will be conducted by Sponsor’s agent, Discover the World in Scottsdale, AZ (“Agent“), whose decision is final in all matters relating to the giveaways. If potential winners do not respond, and if the Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Terms, prize will be forfeited, and at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate entrant may be notified.
5. Conditions for “Europcar’s Endless Summer” promotion:
Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-changeable. Europcar reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of the “Swing into Spring” without notice in the unlikely event of major catastrophe, war, earthquake, or any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other similar event or to provide substitute prizes of similar value should the specified prizes become unavailable.
Winner must be an agent in good standing with Europcar and at least 21 years of age and a legal U.S. resident.
By participating in this promotion, the winner grants the promoters permission to use their name and likeness on the www.europcar4agents.com website and for advertising and future promotional purposes without additional compensations (except where prohibited).
Winner is liable for any tax liability accruing as a result of this promotion. This promotion is void where prohibited. Entrants must be part of a valid travel agency and it is the entrant’s responsibility to update Europcar of any change in their travel agency. No transfer, assignment or substitution of a prize is permitted by any winner. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Europcar, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this promotion.
By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Europcar, the sponsors, its officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in this promotion, or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the promotion; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the promotion or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the promotion or acceptance, receipt use or misuse of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the promotion, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, incidental, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. By entering this promotion, entrants acknowledge that they have read and understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. This promotion is void where prohibited.
6. Winners’ names:
For the names of the prize winners, send an email to Europcar@us-sales.com. The winners’ names will be sent when the promotion is over, and the prizes are awarded. Requests for the winners’ names must be received by October 31th, 2019.
